Chalene's Friends

Welcome Message From Chalene

My Friends ...Welcome to the Family!

Thanks for joining me! Anyone who wants to have fun getting fit and to live a balanced, happy, healthy and fulfilled life is a welcomed member of our family! Most of you know me as a fitness personality; the creator of Turbo Kick®, Turbo Jam®, PiYo™, Hip Hop Hustle™, ChaLEAN Extreme™ and my fitness apparel line, Turbo Wear. Anyone who has met me, or has attended one of my Camps, knows that fitness is a tiny little part of who I am and what truly inspires me. At my core, I am genuinely a person who finds great joy in helping others discover how to live happier, more fulfilling, lives. For some, it means first feeling better about you by getting in shape; for others it's developing the self-confidence it takes to become a fitness instructor or a fitness coach. For me, it means striking a balance.

It means knowing that I can't do "everything”, and also knowing what's most important. I focus on those things and try to do them well (like being the best mom and wife I can be). Here at www.powderblueproductions.com, I hope to help you do more than get fit or buy a cute outfit (although a cute outfit always makes ME happy). Here, you will find the resources, support and friends that will help you live a fit life; a balanced, happy, Healthy and fulfilled life.

I'm excited to have you get to know our family! If you'd like to know a bit more about who I am (not what I've done) but who *I* am, read further.

I'm a Midwestern girl, originally from Michigan, who loves the California life, but believes in good morals and good karma. I speak my mind, often when I shouldn't, and usually because I think it's in the best interest of someone's marriage or a child. I do my best to surround myself with "good" people, with good hearts, who do "right" by others. I don't care much for those who think they're better than everyone else. I'm Scottish/Irish and on a good day, I'm 5' 2". I wasn't born a fitness model and I exercise daily to battle the potential threats of my genetics and of course gravity! I definitely watch what I eat, but I do believe you can eat what you want, if it's in moderation. What I lack in height I think I make up for in energy. I'm very creative and love to dance, choreograph, paint, design clothes, read, read, read, build things, design things and generally have a lust for learning. I believe in sharing knowledge and helping others. I work late nights and early mornings, so that my kids know that my first commitment is to them and their Dad. Always. I believe that if you do what you love, do what you can for others, and clearly identify (in writing) your priorities, all your goals will come true. If someone is standing in my way, I walk around them and wish them the best, as opposed to walking on, or over 'em. Good things happen to those who truly go out of their way to care for other people, without expectations of a kickback or future back rub. I know I get a better workout when I have mascara and lipstick on (fellas, I don't advise it). I workout with more intensity when I feel good in what I'm wearing and this is why I created Turbo Wear. I believe in showing kindness and interest to everyone I meet. I don't sweat the small stuff; it all works out in the end. I believe you should pray for the prosperity of others, especially those who cast hate and envy in your direction (they need it the most). Oh, and I always over-tip. My Dad told me if you tip those who serve others, the kindness comes back to you 10 fold. So far, so good!
